As the proud founders of Rav’s Pet Kitchen, we are thrilled to introduce the first-ever fresh, wholesome, and nutritionally balanced meals for your furry companions. This heartfelt venture was born out of our deep love and affection for our beloved pet dog, RAV—the true inspiration and hero behind our brand.
As a family, we were never particularly inclined toward having a pet. However, one of the children in our family had a heartfelt desire for a puppy. After years of persistent requests, we finally decided to welcome a furry companion into our home.
Choosing the right breed was a unanimous decision—without hesitation, we all agreed on the majestic Great Dane. Remarkably, even the name for our soon-to-be family member was settled without debate.
Thus began our adventurous search for RAV, unfolding in the most unexpected ways. From visiting animal shelters and adoption centers to exploring breeding homes and scouring YouTube videos, we left no stone unturned in our quest to find our perfect pup.
During our YouTube search, we stumbled upon a breeder’s video featuring a puppy that immediately captured our hearts. Without hesitation, we dialed the number displayed on the screen. However, the conversation took an unexpected turn—the person on the other end spoke only Kannada, a language we didn’t understand, and he, in turn, couldn’t comprehend us.
Amid the confusion, a solution struck us—we remembered that our office maid was from Karnataka and could help bridge the communication gap. We rushed to the office, set up a call with the breeder, and had our maid translate for us. As we eagerly listened to their exchange in Kannada, we finally learned that the puppy—our soon-to-be RAV—was in Karnataka.
With her assistance, the deal was finalized—the price was negotiated, transportation arrangements were made, and everything was set in motion. Excitement filled the air as we prepared to welcome our newest family member. But along with our joy came the realization that we had no prior experience in raising a pet.
Determined to provide the best care, we dove headfirst into research—scouring Google, visiting nearby pet clinics, preparing vaccination schedules, and carefully planning RAV’s diet. Our journey into the world of pet parenting had officially begun!
A day or two later, we received an unexpected call from the breeder—RAV was no longer available. Instead, they offered to arrange another puppy for us. Though we were slightly disappointed with how the deal had been handled, we didn’t dwell on it. Our search resumed with renewed enthusiasm.
This time, we expanded our search to Nashik and Gujarat. Calls were made, pictures and videos were exchanged, and for several days, we meticulously explored every possibility. Eventually, we finalized another puppy and began making arrangements to bring him home from Nashik. But destiny had other plans.
Just when we thought our journey had taken a different course, we received an unexpected call from Karnataka—the breeder informed us that RAV was, in fact, still available. The very puppy we had set our hearts on. The one we had envisioned as part of our family. OUR RAV.
Without a second thought, we immediately changed our plans. Everything was rearranged, and we eagerly prepared to bring RAV home. On January 13, 2022, our little bundle of joy, just two months old, embarked on a journey from Karnataka to Mumbai in a private car. Every detail of his journey was carefully planned—the driver was instructed to stop at regular intervals to ensure the little one’s comfort.
Back home, excitement filled the air. An aarti thali was prepared for his grand welcome. And the moment RAV stepped into our house, it was as if he had always belonged there. There was no hesitation, no apprehension—just pure confidence. He took a tour of his new home as if he were claiming it, before settling down on the comforter we had lovingly bought for him. Toys were placed around him, but he needed no reassurance—he was already home.
Looking back at our journey, we now realize something profound: we didn’t find RAV—he found us. He was always meant to be a part of our family. He was destined to be OUR RAV.

For us, pet parenting was a conscious and deliberate decision. As mentioned earlier, none of us were naturally inclined towards having a pet. So, when RAV became a part of our family, our approach to raising him was methodical, rooted in science and responsibility—not because we lacked affection for him, but because we were committed to giving him the best life possible. His well-being was now our responsibility, and we knew there was no room for mistakes.
Every effort was made to ensure RAV received the best care and nutrition. We consulted veterinary experts, carefully curated a balanced diet, and meticulously planned his meals—monitoring portion sizes, nutritional proportions, meal intervals, and feeding frequencies. In no time, RAV became the center of our universe, and our daily lives revolved around his needs.
With regular health check-ups, timely vaccinations, a nutrient-rich home-cooked diet, and the right supplements, RAV blossomed into a graceful and majestic Great Dane. His diet, meticulously tailored to his needs, provided him with essential nutrients that gave him a radiant, silky, and healthy coat.

As we nurtured RAV with the utmost care, we noticed something alarming—not every pet parent follows a healthy diet plan for their furry companions. Out of love and affection, many pet parents feed their pets the same food they prepare for themselves. While treating pets like family is natural and heartwarming, ‘feeding right’ often takes a backseat in this pampering process.
Most pet parents accept that their furry companions have short lifespans. But what if a well-balanced diet could extend their lives? The truth is, our pets happily eat whatever we serve them, but that doesn’t mean it’s right for them. Spiced, salted, and sugary foods may seem harmless but can drastically damage their internal organs, leading to severe health conditions such as kidney failure, arthritis, and chronic skin infections. Over time, this results in a shorter lifespan and a decline in health much earlier than expected.
With this realization, RAV’s PET KITCHEN was born—a heartfelt initiative aimed at providing fresh, balanced, and nutrition-packed meals for furry companions, helping them live healthier, happier, and longer lives.
